Nordic XC Trainer Off Road Skates

SHELL
The shell's design prioritises strength and support. Constructed from a unique composite compound, it is extremely rigid due to the inclusion of 25% fibreglass within the material. It boasts a 165mm long mounting distance, enabling skaters to adjust the frame frames to find the ideal skating position.

PADDING
This skate is equipped with an innovative 3-layer padding system, featuring firmer foam on the exterior, softer foam on the interior, and an additional 3-D latex foam around the ankle area for an enhanced ankle and heel contour, boosting support with each stride. Beneath the lining, a soft sponge foam adds extra comfort and support. The padding is maintained in shape on the exterior thanks to a special heat mouldable chemical sheet.

LACING
This model utilises micro mesh material and high-grade PU upper material. Powerslide has opted for standard lacing paired with plastic loops for this skate. An additional 45° powerstrap ensures the heel remains secure. Superior stitching quality and meticulous attention to detail, along with a rear carrying strap, complete this excellent skate.

FRAME
The frame features a two-piece construction, crafted from two separate aluminium 3-D stamped sidewalls, connected by a robust and solid mounting block. The standard mounting of this frame is 165mm, accommodating a variety of fitness skates available in the market.

TYRES & BEARINGS
The 6 ¼” air tyres are produced by Kenda – a renowned manufacturer for tyres. They are equipped with a sturdy 5-spoke rim. The valve area is protected by rim tape, commonly used in bicycle tyres. The tyres can be inflated up to a maximum of 6.3 bar / 90 psi.

150mm Super High Rebound PU wheels can be ordered separately for skaters who prefer skating primarily on asphalt and seek greater speed.

BRAKE
The Powerslide calf brake provides extensive options for adjustments according to individual preferences and skating skills, ensuring a sense of security and optimal braking functionality. Skaters can modify the brake pad in all directions, including its angle. The height adjustment feature is perfect for finding one's preferred braking position, whether using straighter or more angled legs. The pad is easily replaceable when worn. The skate includes only one brake system.
