As suggested by its name, it is universally compatible, meaning it can be fitted to the majority of contemporary freecoaster hubs, irrespective of the brand.

Kink Universal Hub Guards are accompanied by a spacing washer for hubs that employ a broader cone. It includes a chromoly core with threads, designed to take the place of the hub's existing cone nut.
