Sharpening of ice skates at SkatePro: Available for both hockey skates and figure skates.
- This option can be added when purchasing ice skates from SkatePro.
- We provide only standard edge-sharpening.
"The manufacturers deliver ice skates with a basic sharpening sufficient for skating. However, this sharpening is not very effective and does not match the quality of freshly sharpened ice skates" (by Kenwin, Ice skate expert at SkatePro)
Sharpening ice skates constitutes a service, and the usual return rights do not apply. If you purchase both skates and sharpening, and decide to return the skates, you are still entitled to return the skates. Please be aware that the quality of the sharpening is also influenced by the quality of the ice skates themselves. Consequently, a less expensive skate will never be as sharp and effective as a more costly ice skate.
The stated price covers the sharpening of a pair of skates.
