Heat Moulding Instructions
1. Bring water to a boil (approximately 3 cups of boiling water per boot are needed).
2. As the water heats, roll down the cuffs of your Solite boots and place them in a sink.
3. Wear your Solite Heat Booster socks if you intend to use them inside your boots.
4. Once the water reaches a full bubbling boil, carefully pour it into your Solite boots (while in the sink), filling each just below the seam where the neoprene upper joins the sole. See photo.
5. Wait 5 minutes to allow the boiling water to soften the sole material.
6. After 5 minutes, cautiously pour out the hot water from one boot at a time and quickly rinse the inside with cold water to lower the surface temperature and prevent burns. Test with your hand, aiming to insert your foot as warm as is comfortably manageable.
7. Insert your foot into your Solite boot while wearing the Heat Booster sock if you plan on using the socks frequently. Ensure your big toe rests comfortably in the toe cavity and your heel fits snugly in the heel pocket.
8. Repeat Steps 6 and 7 for the other boot.
9. Secure the boot ankle straps if present.
10. Walk around in your Solite boots for the next 10-15 minutes to permit them to mould comfortably to your feet as they cool.
11. Once your Solite Boots have cooled to room temperature, the moulding process is complete.
12. Should you be dissatisfied with the fit, you may remould your Solite boots by repeating the same steps above. Your Solite boots should feel utterly comfortable, almost as an extension of your foot.
