Description

From the original innovators of what was once a revolutionary Standard Compression System (SCS) comes a fresh perspective on this impressive compression type. Proto has reimagined the SCS, resulting in the Sentinel. This product offers a reliable and straightforward approach to stunt scooter clamps.

With eight years of experience in SCS design, the Sentinel boasts numerous enhancements over previous models. A primary aim was to enhance support for the currently trending taller bars. This objective is achieved through various upgrades, with the bar support area measuring a full 2 inches, providing a 30% increase in stability compared to its predecessors.

Proto chose to incorporate 8mm bolts with 6mm heads for the clamp bolts. They utilise an offset slit to provide additional receiving engagement, further contributing to a robust and durable connection.

Finally, Proto introduced a threaded slot for easier access to the spreader bolt, eliminating the need for the “penny” technique when securing SCS compression setups.
