Ophira 45 Roller Derby Plate Set

The Chaya Roller Derby Ophira 45° plate is an absolute powerhouse designed for maximum enjoyment on the Derby track. With a weight of merely 545 grams per complete plate (size 6), it is exceptionally lightweight. This is achieved through the utilisation of 7075 grade aluminium, renowned for being both light and incredibly strong and durable.

Among the standout features distinguishing this plate is the Dual Centre Mounting, exclusive to Chaya. It employs a two-bolt mounting system that allows for easy attachment to Chaya boots. Additionally, it is equipped with drilled slots to facilitate mounting with regular boots.

The Ophira 45° Plate set comes with standard hangers featuring standard wheel nut mounting. Although somewhat slower than Chaya’s quick-axle systems, this setup is robust, durable, and widely familiar.

The Power Toe System present in the Ophira plate provides improved propulsion and enhanced control.

The Cherry bomb toe stop is offset to boost power transfer, ensure better balance, and allow for more controlled stops. Its flat surface offers substantial grip in various conditions and provides exceptional durability.

This 45° variant is incredibly agile and highly responsive, reacting swiftly with minimal exertion from the skater.
