The G13 PU provides great grip without compromising on roll, and it delivers a fantastic pop out of the turns. It utilises S.E.R.T. technology, which stands for Stored Energy Ring Technology. Neal Piper, the engineer behind the wheel, provides the best explanation for this technology:

"One of the most crucial structures in any inline racing wheel is the transition layer where a softer construction meets a considerably harder mounting base. This is a very vital energy management zone for a wheel. At this critical hinge or pivot point, the power of the push and the “stored rotational energy” within the deflected tyre must not be lost. If a transition or mounting layer between the PU tyre and the harder plastic hub is correctly constructed, it achieves a perfect balance between tyre flexibility and energy release throughout the entire wheel."
