Before assembling the Cortex, the team at Éclat assessed every issue they encountered with earlier freecoaster models, ensuring the Cortex hub was improved in all regards.

The V2 Cortex is exceptional for executing crank flips while maintaining consistent slack. Various members of the Éclat team have subjected the Cortex Hub to two years of testing to optimise its performance, and they continue to use it today.
