Base Kit Prep Grip Ski Glide Wax

The Base Prep Grip Kit contains everything you need for cleaning and readying the wax area on your classic cross-country skis.

What's in this kit:

• Scraper with sandpaper
• Wax Remover
• Fiberlene Paper
• Base Spray
• Synthetic cork-block

Note: Wax for different temperatures is not part of this kit.

1) Cleaning Step: Utilise the sharp edge of the scraper. Remove old kick wax from the kick zone by scraping it away.

2) Cleansing Process: Apply wax remover onto Fiberlene paper and clean the kick zone base to eliminate any lingering old kick wax.

3) Preparing Surface for New Wax: After the wax remover has dried, employ sandpaper on the scraper to scrub the kick zone. Then, wipe it, and apply a layer of Base Spray - exclusively in the kick zone, allowing the moisture to evaporate.

4) With your skis now cleaned and prepared for the appropriate kick zone wax according to temperature, you can apply the kick zone wax (purchased separately) to the kick zone, based on your skiing conditions. Use the synthetic cork-block included in this kit to warm the kick wax into the base.
