Description
The Overland emerged from extensive discussions with the Loaded Ambassadors. Many of them sought a board that could seamlessly merge their riding styles, utilising only one longboard.
It features a deck that combines elements from two Loaded decks: the Kanthaka and the Tesseract. The Kanthaka is a more technical freeride and street trick board, while the Tesseract is often chosen for downhill riding. Loaded and the team aimed to find the perfect balance between these styles, resulting in the Overland.
The Overland is a true Swiss army knife of longboarding and skateboarding. With its comfortable foot lock in the concave shape, it supports freeriding and sliding, while the nostalgic directional pool shape offers an enjoyable experience at the local skatepark and bowl.
This longboard is constructed from a layer of vertically laminated bamboo, providing a fairly rigid flex. This layer is laminated between two layers of triaxial fibreglass and finished on the bottom with a layer of thermoplastic urethane, which offers low friction, making the Overland excellent for sliding around on rails. Additionally, this bottom layer also reduces vibrations.
