Fitting the Brake on Roxa Comp
When purchasing the Roxa Comp, a brake pad is provided and can be easily attached.
Required tools: Two hex tools or a skate-tool.
The brake pad is installed within the brake housing. Note the unique bolt required for this brake.
Step 1
Position a hex tool on either side of the wheel to unscrew and remove the existing bolt and axle.
Take out the existing axle and bolt using two hex tools.
Step 2
Slide the brake housing over the rear wheel. There's a pin on the back of the skate that must align with the top section of the brake housing.
Install the brake housing by sliding it over the rear wheel.
Step 3
The bolt designed for the brake is longer than the previous one and needs to be attached to the axle.
Utilise the new, longer bolt.
Step 4
Secure the axle and the longer bolt, ensuring they are tightly fastened (while still allowing wheel movement). Keep the old bolt for future use if you decide to skate without the brake.
