Thomas on Tour

On July 19th, 2024, Thomas Keesman embarked on an incredible longboarding challenge. Within three weeks, he aimed to cover the 1,020-kilometer distance from Gothenburg, Sweden, to his hometown of Ede in the Netherlands.

A passionate longboarder with experience in long-distance skating, Thomas decided to push his limits while raising funds for Alzheimer Nederland. This non-profit organization is dedicated to making life easier for people with Alzheimer’s and their loved ones, as well as funding scientific research into Alzheimer’s treatment and care.

Thomas’ case was straightforward for us. He needed some gear for his trip, and recognizing the significance of his cause and its positive impact, we were happy to provide him with a couple of essentials.

We supported Thomas with longboard products and apparel to defy the elements during his long trip.

Exceeding his own expectations, Thomas completed his journey and made it back to the Netherlands in just 15 days, having pushed himself through Sweden, Denmark, and Germany.

On top of it all, he managed to raise an impressive €3500 for Alzheimer Nederland. Well done!
