Bold Projects – When Boldness Drives Good

Bold Projects, founded in Helsinki in 2018, is a nonprofit of inspiring and brave individuals. Throwing themselves into all sorts of possible and impossible sports challenges, they raise funds for charities with impressive results. This concept aligns perfectly with SkatePro Giveback.

Bold Projects embarked on a journey across Finland, from Nuorgam in the north to Helsinki in the south, on inline skates. The mission: raise funds for Tukikummit, an organization dedicated to supporting marginalized youth facing mental health challenges in Finland.

“Of all of the projects we have done with Bold Projects, roller skating from Nuorgam to Helsinki is one of the most fun ones but also one of the most exhausting ones mentally. It took us eleven days and eleven nights to roller skate 1400 kilometers and gather over 7000 euros for the youth in Finland who risk becoming marginalized.“ - Bold Projects.

SkatePro’s Contribution to Bold Projects

The team needed some high-quality gear to be able to pull it off. We agreed to donate €500 worth of high-quality skating equipment for each skater, totaling €2,000. They got ski poles, protective gear, and the trusted Powerslide Arise Marathon Inline Skates at favorable prices.

Bold Projects raised an impressive €7,000 to support youngsters in need. We are incredibly proud to have contributed to this outstanding effort.
