Purchasing Scooter Grips
Grips attach to your bar. Much like a bike, maintaining full control over your bar is crucial. There is a wide array of models composed of various materials. Your choice should be guided by your personal preferences.
Note: All grips share the same inner diameter, allowing them to fit all bars unless specified otherwise.
The diagram below presents 2 grips with bar ends.
Fitting Scooter Grips
Attaching grips can be challenging; here are some recommendations:
- Spray a liquid, such as window cleaner or hairspray, into the grip and on the bar. Allow it to dry!
- Using an air compressor, create an air pocket around the grip, enabling it to slide on easily.
- If all else fails, visit a local bicycle mechanic, who can usually resolve it swiftly.
Tips and Information on Stunt Scooter Grips:
- Grips are consumable parts and should be replaced when they show signs of wear.
- Softer grips deteriorate more quickly and require more frequent replacement.
- You can use scissors to remove grips from the bar or cut them to the right length.
- Bar ends (the separate component inserted into the bar) cannot fit Aluminium bars because of the bar thickness. However, you can make a cut in the bar end to force it into an aluminium bar.
- We advise using bar ends to prolong the lifespan of the bar.
