For commuting, scooters equipped with large wheels of 120 mm or more are advisable. These, known as commuter scooters, cater mainly to adults seeking an enjoyable and healthy commuting option. Children's scooters also fall into this category and may feature two or three wheels. Often foldable, big wheeled scooters are convenient for transport on public transport and easy to carry to work or school. Large wheels provide excellent directional stability and can handle bumps and small road imperfections with ease.
